Back in December of 2025 I began studying for the DMAT. I spent two weeks watching videos and completing practice problems just to come up 2 questions short on the DMAT. After taking precalc I sit in a position to teach others which questions they'll need to know - so I made a course out of it. Our goal is to show students exactly what the exam will be like so they don't have to spend time guessing what to study.
As a current sophomore at the University of Georgia, I made the mistake of not attempting the DMAT my freshman year. Why would I? I had no reference for what the exam was going to look like. Instead, I had to take the class, and while I ended up getting a 96, I now teach others about the DMAT and the ways to succeed on it. This way, no one makes the same mistake I did and can avoid spending a semester taking an unnecessary class.

The Pattern...
Fact of the matter is precalc professors were never brought here to teach. They come to UGA to pursue research and in order to keep their job the university requires they teach a class. Some teachers are better than others but teaching is typically a secondary goal for these professors.
